To all students who are using e-books through Vital Source. Please log into your Moodle shell as you normally do on a desktop computer. Choose the class(es) that you are using e-books in. Click on the book(s) that you are using. This will give you a long-term license for your book. If you do not do this, you will receive a message that states your access to your book has expired. In an effort to alleviate any delay in accessing your course materials, click on your e-book links today.
Here are specific instructions for you.
- Enter your class on Moodle from the computer.
- Click on green link for the book.
- Enter your class on Moodle from the ipad. Address is: gsbo.ecpi.net.
- Do not use Bookshelf.
- Click on green link for the book.
- Go to the home icon (still on the ipad).
- Click “Update Library”.
- Go to Bookshelf, your book will be there.
If for some reason the time clock and three red dots remain on the book cover in Bookshelf:
- Press firmly on the book cover.
- Press “remove from device”.
- Press the arrow to download the book.
